Make a paste of 1 tablespoon dried and powdered henna leaves, ½ a teaspoon fenugreek seed powder, ½ a teaspoon of Indian gooseberry powder and ½ a cup natural yogurt and use it as a mask for ½ an hour. Rinse and apply olive oil. Use a mild shampoo devoid of sulfates after 1 hour.
Another great herb for health and shine of hair is rosemary. Steep rosemary leaves in boiling water to make a strong tea. Let cool to optimum temperature and use it to rinse your hair after you shampoo.
Neem may not be common in the USA, but is an excellent remedy for many skin conditions including acne, pimples, eczema, and dandruff. You can easily order Neem online.
